A MAN has been charged over an incident in Cloverdale in which an elderly crosswalk attendant was allegedly punched.
About 8.40am, the 72-year-old male victim was working as a traffic warden on Wright Street, near Cloverdale Primary School.
Police say a verbal altercation occurred between the man and the warden’s wife, who was seated in their parked vehicle.

A 32-year-old man from Kalamunda has been charged with one count of aggravated assault occasioning bodily harm and will appear in Perth Magistrates Court on December 16.
