Man found dead in Perth park

HOMICIDE Squad detectives are investigating after the body of a man was found in a Perth park.

Emergency services were called to Adachi Park in Ascot and confirmed the man was dead.

Forensic officers are at the scene.

A spokesman for WA Police said detectives are appealing for information regarding the death.

“About 8:20am police were called to Adachi Park on Great Eastern Highway, Ascot, in relation to a man who was located unresponsive,” the spokesman said on Christmas Eve.

“Police attended the scene and confirmed the man was deceased. Forensic officers are at the scene.

“Detectives would like to speak to anyone who was in the Adachi Park area as they may have information that could assist with this investigation.”
