Man critical after being hit by fuel truck at Perth Airport

A MAN has been seriously injured after being hit by a BP fuel truck at the Skippers Aviation terminal at Perth Airport this morning.

The accident happened just before 6am.

The Skippers Aviation employee was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

A spokeswoman for Worksafe said investigations were pending as there were issues surrounding jurisdiction with theĀ Australian Transport Safety Bureau.

Some flights to mine sites have been cancelled as a result of the accident.
