Man threatens UberEats driver with gun

POLICE are investigating an incident in Cloverdale last night in which a man is believed to have threatened an Uber Eats driver with a gun.

The incident occurred on Abernethy Road about 11.30pm, when a man – possibly armed with a gun – approached the 19-year-old driver and demanded his car keys.

The victim managed to run inside a nearby fast food restaurant while the offender left the area in a vehicle being driven by another man.

The offender is described as aged between 25 to 30 years, with dark skin, approximately 180cms tall, with a slim build.
