THE person found dead in the river near Burswood foreshore on Wednesday has been identified as a 36-year-old man from the Perth CBD.
Police were notified of the grim discovery around 1pm on Wednesday but it took until Thursday to uncover his identity. They said they were not treating the death as suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
