THE owners of Millstream Patisserie believe they have the best muffins in WA.

Having received a variety of gold medals over the past 12 years – including first place at this year’s Baking Industry Awards – they have every right to say so.

The owners of the South Perth bakery, Hieu Dinh and Yen Ma said they were ecstatic about the win as each time they entered a competition it taught them more about the industry and their business.

“We submitted several flavours of muffins for the competition, including blueberry and choc chip, which were awarded first and second place,” Mr Dinh said.

“I have been a baker for 30 years, running Millstream Patisserie for the past 15 so these awards prove to me that my techniques are special and unique.”

Millstream Patisserie also won first place for their vanilla slice.
