Naked man found with blade attack wounds

DETECTIVES continue to investigate the circumstances around a man found naked in Carlisle on Friday night with serious injuries from a blade attack.

Police received several calls about 8.30pm regarding an injured, naked man in his 40s near the intersection of Orrong Road and Wright Street.

A spokesman for WA Police said the man had several injuries “consistent with being attacked with a bladed weapon”.

“The man was taken to Royal Perth Hospital by ambulance,” he said.

“It has been established the man received his injuries at a residence in nearby Marchamley Place, however no one was present upon police arrival.”

Cannington Detectives were called to the scene and have taken over the assault investigation.
