National Reconciliation Week: Rivervale Community Centre hosting events

RIVERVALE Community Centre is hosting two special events for National Reconciliation Week.

The Aboriginal Cultural Awareness and Understanding training sessions are open for all members of the community to work together towards this year’s theme of ‘Let’s Take The Next Steps’.

This year marks 50 years since the 1967 referendum and 25 years since the historic Mabo decision.

Danny Ford will provide the two sessions from Kambarang Services on Wednesday, May 31, from 10am to 1pm and then 2pm to 5pm.

RSVP is essential as places are limited and is required by Friday, May 26.

Phone 9477 7219 or email community.development@belmont.wa.gov.au to reserve your spot.
