DAREDEVIL Josh Sheehan has pulled off the impressive feat of riding his motocross bike along 30m of a lake.

The Donnybrook resident performed the stunt at Belmont Park Racecourse today, ahead of Nitro Circus at Optus Stadium on April 22.

“I haven’t done one that big before but I had to hold on tightly, a few of the other Nitro boys have done similar things and come off so thankfully I got through it nicely,” he said.

“Hitting the water is pretty awesome, it’s a bit scary. If you are going slower then the water flicks on the front wheel and wants to push you off the back, so you need to grip tightly.

“When you are going across the water it’s a unique feeling, it bounces a bit.

“I was probably doing 100km/h.”

Sheehan said people could expect all of the usually tricks at Nitro Circus.

“BMX guys, mountain bike guys will be doing the biggest tricks in the world and we even have some bigger ramps,” he said.

“If you think what we normally do is crazy, we’ve got a ramp that sends us 50 per cent higher.”
