Nominations for 24th Belmont and Western Australia Small Business Awards open

The 24th annual Belmont & Western Australia Small Business Awards were launched on April 27 at the City of Belmont Civic Centre by Mayor Phil Marks.

Co-ordinated by the Belmont Enterprise Centre, the 26 award categories are open for entries from small businesses, individuals and organisations from across the State, and provide encouragement for achievement and business excellence.

Categories include the Belmont Rotary Businessperson of the Year, the Southern Gazette Community Spirit award, Perth Airport Volunteer of the Year, Qbit Technology Award and more.

Entrants can access a wide range of support in preparing their submission, including free award entry kits, workshops, webinars, and access to mentors.

Entries close at 5pm on Tuesday, September 26, and you can find more information at belmontbec.com/|awards or call 9479 3777.

Nominees and special guests will be invited to the ‘Night of Stars’ presentation event at the Perth Exhibition and Convention Centre ballroom on Wednesday, October 25.

The event at the Civic Centre also marked the launch of the 2017 designedge Innovation Festival, with small business owners, innovators, designers, creatives and more coming together for workshops, networking and forums over the six-week festival period.
