VenuesWest acting chief executive Janis Carren said Optus Stadium being shortlisted would promote Perth as a destination for international visitors and possibly help to secure more events.

Optus Stadium was previously shortlisted for Venue of the Year and a Fan Experience Award as part of TheStadiumBusiness Awards, which will be presented in London next month.
