Perth fans preparing for Manchester United tickets to go on sale

PERTH soccer fans are preparing with tickets to see Manchester United play at Optus Stadium next year going on sale this morning.

There are less than two hours to go until tickets for the general public go on sale at 10am through Ticketmaster.

Manchester United is set to play two exhibition games in Perth in 2019, tackling Perth Glory on July 13 and long-time rivals Leeds United on July 17.

The games have already drawn worldwide interest with fans from more than 20 countries including Spain, Singapore, New Zealand, UK and Kazakhstan buying ticket packages.

International visitors have also indicated they plan to spend several days and even up to three weeks in Perth, in what will be a welcome boost to WA tourism.
