Picnic in the Park helps Telethon Type 1 Organisation

Kids with type 1 diabetes and their families were invited to participate in games, entertainment and a barbecue.

Costing just a donation, the family fun day is part of efforts to create a cohesive community for children and families living with type 1 diabetes.

The Telethon Type 1 Diabetes Family Centre is based in Osborne Park and offers psychosocial and peer support, information and education in a friendly manner for families.
