STRIKE Force Vulcan officers are investigating the cause of multiple scrub fires in Ascot, which were burning on Australia Day.
Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called to two small scrub fires on a median strip on Grandstand Parade, behind Northerly Avenue around 3pm on Sunday.
The fires were extinguished by 3.15pm but another small scrub fire was located on Garratt Road.

Investigators believe a man, who is pictured, may be able to assist with their inquiries.
He was wearing a blue t-shirt, shorts and white sneakers.
Any members of the public who were driving in the area between 3pm and 4pm, who have dash-cam vision of the area is asked to come forward.
