Police call for witnesses to Belmont assault

KENSINGTON Detectives are seeking information on a robbery that happened in Belmont last month.

On Tuesday August 8 at about 8.45pm a 36-year-old man was waiting to be picked up on Belvidere Street in Belmont near the Belvidere Bar and Bistro when he was robbed by a young man.

The victim’s mobile phone was stolen and he sustained a concussion, swelling and bleeding to his face, and a back injury.
