Police charge man over alleged obscene acts at Belmont Forum Shopping Centre

KENSINGTON Detectives have called for witnesses to a series of incidents at Belmont Forum Shopping Centre on Sunday involving a motorcyclist and alleged obscene acts.

They are interested in speaking with anyone who witnessed a man riding a motorcycle through the car park of the shopping centre while performing obscene acts.

Police believe there were times when he parked his motorcycle next to women and children while carrying out the acts.

He was wearing a dark jacket, blue jeans and black helmet at the time.

Police are investigating whether he has performed similar acts at other metropolitan shopping centres.

A 26-year-old High Wycombe man has been charged with making an obscene act and will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on January 8.

Inquiries are ongoing and police are keen to speak to any witnesses.
