Police hunting Ascot armed robbery suspect

POLICE are looking for help as they investigate an armed robbery in Ascot.

At about 12.50am on March 19, a man entered a service station on Great Eastern Highway.

The man’s face was covered and he threatened the cashier with a knife.

He then jumped over the counter and stole a sum of cash before leaving the area.

He was last seen walking on Hardey Road.

The man is described as dark skinned, medium build, approximately 180cm tall with short dark hair and an unshaven face.

He was last seen wearing a dark coloured hooded zip-up jumper, dark pants and black Nike sneakers.

Anyone who may have information relating to the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers.
