The offenders ransacked the tills before running away from the shopping centre.

At 11.50pm, the same men – armed with screwdrivers – broke into Stockland Bull Creek Shopping Centre at 11.50pm.

They ransacked the tills at the Woolworths supermarket, stealing cash and cigarettes.

Police officers from the Cannington and Fremantle districts raced to other potential shopping centres nearby to prevent further robberies.

Regional Investigations Unit detectives, canine and forensics officers are investigating CCTV and forensic evidence at both crime scenes.

Anyone with information about either of the crimes should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a confidential report online.
