POLICE are investigating a terrifying home invasion in East Victoria Park after a man was injured by a knife-wielding intruder.
About 3.30am on Tuesday the resident of a home in Etwell Street woke to find a man committing a burglary in his house.
He confronted the offender, who threatened him with a knife before wounding him.
The victim received a laceration to his head and was taken by St John Ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.
