Police investigating break in at Kensington Men’s Shed

POLICE are investigating a break-in at Victoria Park Men’s Shed on Anketell Street, Kensington.

A WA Police spokesperson said the incident happened between 6pm on Friday, November 23 and 9am on Monday, November 26.

“A green wheelie bin was stolen which we assume was used to transport a number of tools from the premises,” they said.

Committee chairman Peter Guthrie said this was the first time the shed was broken into and asked the public to keep an eye out.

“Keep a watch for us to see if there is anything that looks strange, like tools dumped on the side of the road,” he said.

“These things happen unfortunately and we’ve got to upgrade to secure our premises.”

The tools taken out of the metal work shed were an arc welder, a cordless drill, an angle grinder, a rattle gun and a dye grinder.
