Police looking for 45-year-old man to help with investigations into Burswood disturbance

UPDATE 9.13am: Police located Mr Taylor in Highgate around 8am this morning, following information from a member of the public.

He is in custody and assisting police with their inquiries.

POLICE are seeking information on the whereabouts of Shayne Andrew Taylor who they believe can help them in relation to an incident in Burswood yesterday.

About 5pm on Monday, police and the Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called to a disturbance at an address on Claude Street involving a group of people.

There was a smell of gas in the area and the group was able to leave the premises.

St John Ambulance officers treated several people at the scene and two were taken to hospital as a precaution.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident, with Mr Taylor last seen in the vicinity of Claude Street.

The 45-year-old is described as about 165cm tall and of medium build with brown eyes and greying hair.

He was last seen wearing three-quarter length dark pants, dark coloured Nike runners and possibly a white top.

Any members of the public who see Mr Taylor are advised not to approach him but call police immediately on 131 444.
