Police searching for missing woman Janice Gillespie

UPDATE: Police announced just after 2.30pm that they had found Janice Gillespie.

They said she was safe and with her family.

POLICE are concerned about the welfare of missing 69-year-old woman Janice Pearl Gillespie.

She was last seen about 6.30am this morning at a home in Goddard Street in Lathlain.

Janice is described as having a tanned complexion, about 150cms tall, with a slim build and greying brown short hair.

She is believed to be wearing blue jeans and black shoes.

Janice is partially blind and deaf and has several medical conditions.

She may have become confused and become lost, not remembering how to get home.

Police and family have concerns for her welfare and we ask anyone who sees Janice or has any information regarding her whereabouts to call police immediately on 131 444.
