Rivervale man charged following altercation armed with edged weapon

POLICE have charged a 36-year-old man over an incident at a home in Rivervale overnight.

Police alleged about 8.30pm yesterday, the Rivervale man became involved in an altercation with another man in his 20s at a house in Nannine Place.

It is believed the offender was armed with an edged weapon and the victim received injuries.

The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance where he remains in a stable condition.

The 36-year-old has been charged with act or omission causing bodily harm and is due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court today.
