CLOVERDALE’S Ruth Faulkner Public Library is set to host an information session on cutting down kitchen waste.

Presented by Switch Your Thinking, the workshop will explore the problem of food waste and how you can take simple action from your very own kitchen.

When food is discarded, you are also discarding all the water, fertiliser, fuel and energy that were used to get that food to your plate.

By switching a few habits, it’s easy to make a big difference to your waste output and help the environment along with your household budget.

The workshop takes place on Tuesday, October 17, between 10.30am and 12pm.

Tickets are free for City of Belmont residents, and $5 for non-residents.

Book your place today at Eventbrite or call the library on 9477 7150.
