School lesson for Bali students

Staff ReporterSouthern Gazette

Kent Street has been a sister school for the Bali school for a year after joining the|AdoptASchool Program in 2012.

A spokeswoman from the school said they joined the program as a way of promoting Asian literacy through the school and building relationships with neighbours.

‘A lot of our students have close connections to the Balinese community and this initiative highlights this as well as promoting the close relationship the Balinese people have with Perth,’ she said.
