GAMERS will be treated to a new Perth arcade and bar opening on Valentines’ Day.
Palace Arcade, Perth’s first arcade machine gaming bar, will open their second venue in East Victoria Park at 12pm on February 14.
A Valentine’s Day special will be on the menu for the grand opening of the second venue on 774 Albany Highway.
Patrons under 18 are welcome until 8.30pm but the arcade’s grand opening event will go through to midnight.
The arcade and bar will be amping up the nostalgic factor with old-school machines and a classic menu for hungry gamers.
Palaca Arcade’s head chef will be dishing up giant slices of pizza and sides, including mac and cheese bites, garlic knots and jalapeno poppers.
The staff will be mixing specialty cocktails, serving craft beers alongside a menu which can cater to dietary requirements.
Founder Saran Bajaj has collected more than 150 machines from the 1970s – 1990s before opening the first venue in Northbridge.
Mr Bajaj was also involved in other projects including Origin Fields, The Compound, Shape Nightclub and Beauvine Food & Wine Festival.
