Catapulted back into the spotlight with the help of social media, the 2003 Australian Idol runner up will play at Ship-Wrecked! Music Festival at McCallum Park on April 9.

“The fact that this is the first ever Ship-Wrecked! makes it that much more exciting,” Mr Noll said.

“The recent support I’ve received from the Australian public has been amazing, so I really want to thank everyone by putting on a great show.”

Festival goers can enjoy their favourite iconic Noll classics including What About Me, Shine and Drive.

Ship-Wrecked! managing director Daniel Bruce (19) secured Noll for the festival after identifying a strong push on social media for Noll’s career to be reignited.

“Shannon Noll promised to raise the roof of the inaugural Ship-Wrecked! Music Festival,” Mr Bruce said.

“His energy, great Aussie spirit and iconic following will ensure the festival will deliver the music experience to punters.”

The festival will also feature Melbourne indie rock band Kingswood, Perth duo Mosquito Coast and hip hop artists Thundamentals, Holy Holy and Abbe May.
