South Perth man (26) charged after being found with more than 2500 pills

A SOUTH Perth man will appear in court today after being charged by police for possessing prohibited drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Perth Detectives executed a search warrant on a business unit located on Fitzgerald Street in Northbridge last night.

It will be alleged during the search police located and seized more than 2500 pills, believed to be MDMA, an amount of cannabis and methylamphetamine, as well as various drug paraphernalia items.

The 26-year-old man has been charged with two counts of possessing prohibited drugs with intent to sell or supply, one count of possessing a prohibited drug and one count of possessing drug paraphernalia.

The man will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court while a 25-year-old Manning man will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date on drug related offences.
