Stolen car smashes into Rivervale yard

THE man alleged to have been behind the wheel of a stolen car crashed in Rivervale this week is facing a string of driving and burglary charges.

Belmont Police arrested a 24-year-old man after the car smashed into the retaining wall of a Kooyong Road house, leaving it precariously balanced with two wheels off the ground.

He was charged over 17 alleged offences, including three commercial burglaries in Rivervale.
