POLICE have charged a man from Bentley following an investigation into an armed robbery in Ascot.
About 12.50am on March 19, the man allegedly entered a service station along Great Eastern Highway.

The 35 year old was charged with one count of armed robbery and is due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court today.

KENSINGTON Detectives are appealing for witnesses to a robbery in South Perth.
Two suspects assaulted a male and attempted to steal his backpack on May 2 about 10.20pm, before being disturbed by a witness and running away.
The victim received minor injuries.

The pair is described as being in their 20s and were last seen wearing white tops and black trousers.
