Two other people were charged by summons late last week in relation to a firearm and weapon offence, and are due to appear in Perth Magistrate’s Court on June 6.

Two kilograms of the drug were seized from the vehicle, and a further 2kg was uncovered through a police operation. It will be alleged the drugs were from the same drug syndicate.

On Friday April 25, six search warrants were executed in Kewdale and Bibra Lake and $380,000 cash, two firearms, ammunition, steroids and pepper spray canisters were seized.

Serious and Organised Crime Division’s Detective Inspector Chris Adams said the street value of the drugs seized was about $8 million.

A 38-year-old Kewdale man was charged with conspiracy to sell/supply a prohibited drug, three counts of supplying a prohibited drug and one count of failing to obey a data access order. He is next due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on Thursday, July 24.

A 33-year-old Munster man has been charged with supplying a prohibited drug and unlicensed person possess firearm/ammunition.

He is next due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on Friday, August 15.
