The program aims to find Australia’s most exceptional primary school teachers.
Teachers Alicia Taylor, Audrey D’Cruz, Sue Millar, Sistha Halim and Shannon May have all been nominated and principal Bruce Macauley said the school was proud of all its teachers.
‘The ones nominated range from graduates to one with 20 years experience so the parents are happy with all our teachers,’ he said.
OfficeMax Australia’s Director of Education Darren Steel said that the program highlighted the passion and dedication of Australia’s teachers.
‘We are so fortunate to have such high-calibre teachers in this country and, while their day-to-day work is truly appreciated, outside recognition through programs such as A Day Made Better really delights and motivates them to keep up the good work,’ he said.
