Team set for clean sweep of local park

Staff ReporterSouthern Gazette

Revive Rivervale founder Neale Gleeson said the clean- up of the park on Kooyong Road and surrounding sporting areas was one of the things the group was doing to improve the area’s safety.

‘We are also going to clean up around the streets from Surrey to Toorak Road and from Francisco to Campbell Street,’ he said.

A former Victorian police officer, Mr Gleeson founded Revive Rivervale three months ago after moving to the area last year.

The group has about 30 active members and the support of Belmont councillor Brenda Martin, who is vice-chair.
