Terrific time on two wheels

The family-friendly community safety event aims to inspire recreational cyclists to get on their bikes, come together and reclaim the streets.

Local cycling enthusiasts from South Perth Bicycle Users Group, South Perth Rouleurs Cycling Club, and Garland Cycles have all pitched in to support the night ride event.

Local cycling volunteers will lead the 45-minute ride with participants able to choose from two routes.

City of South Perth Mayor Sue Doherty said the event was a great way to explore the area.

‘Social cycling is a safe, fun way to explore the beautiful South Perth foreshore and recreational areas of the City,’ she said.

‘It’s an opportunity to actively enjoy the fresh night air in the company of family and neighbours.’
