Transperth officer threatened by man with gun at Oats Street Station

A MAN carrying a bumbag a pulled a gun on a Transperth revenue officer asking to see his ticket at a suburban train station.

The confrontation happened at Oats Street train station in Carlisle, about 12.15pm Sunday, police say.

After pointing the gun at the officer, the man ran off and a police search has been unable to find him.

WA Police ask anyone with information on a heavily tattooed, fair skinned man, in his early twenties, wearing a red singlet, black shorts, a white bandage on his left knee and carrying a cream coloured bumbag to phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
