‘Unsightly’ verge has residents in revolt

The residents said they have made repeated requests to the parish priest in the past two years about attending to the ‘poor state’ of the verge.

‘It started when the church decided to put artificial grass down against the City of South Perth’s regulations and without permission,’ resident Clive Deverall said.

‘They put about 130 tonnes of blue metal down’
