Vic Park Summer Street Party: plenty of fun in store on Sunday

PLENTY of fun is on offer during the Vic Park Summer Street Party this Sunday from 2pm to 8pm.

The event is happening on Albany Highway between Mint Street and Dane Street and entry is free.

Live entertainment will take place on three stages and there will be handmade and unique market stalls, community displays, kid’s activities and gourmet food.

Town of Victoria Park Mayor Trevor Vaughan said after the event attracted 40,000 people last year, he was excited for this year.

“We look forward to once again being able to give our community the opportunity to get together,” he said.

Live entertainment will include Rhubarb Records on Bashinghall Street with performances from The Surf Mist, Mooj, Great Gable, The Southern River Bands and more.

On the Canterbury Street Stage there will be performances from Carlisle Primary School, Victoria Park Christian School, Perth Montessori School Rock Band Crossfire, Perth Swing Dance Academy, The Jungle Body Fix, Catch Music Leederville, Said Poets Society and Peace, Love and All That Stuff

The Dane Street Buskers Stage will host performances from Stefan Testi and Echo City.
