Victoria Park: Police search for couple who stole wallet then went on spending spree

POLICE are looking for two people who fraudulently used cards to purchase goods in Victoria Park.

A man was working at a commercial premises on Albany Highway at about 9.30am on November 11 when he left some of his tools and his wallet in one area of the premises while he worked in another part.

When the man returned to the other room, he discovered his tools were moved and his wallet was missing.

Inside the wallet were two cards that were used by a man and woman shortly after at a supermarket and pharmacy in Victoria Park.

The couple used the cards to buy several hundred dollars worth of items.

Police have released CCTV images of the man and woman they believe can assist them with their inquiries.

The man is described as having tan skin, being 35 to 45-years-old with a solid build and wearing an orange and black baseball cap, sunglasses and grey T-shirt.

The woman is described as having tan skin, being 25 to 35-years-old with a thin build, long dark hair tied back and wearing a white top.
