BACK to back wins has assured IGA Preston Street’s mantle as WA’s best IGA supermarket.

Named store of the year for the second straight time at the annual IGA Awards of Excellence, the Preston Street store and its staff are this year also celebrating fresh wins in the delicatessen, bakery and produce categories.

That triple triumph sets the Como supermarket aside as the benchmark in the industry, owner Pierre Sequeira said.

“IGA Preston Street is a great example of the level of excellence that can be achieved by a small size store,” he said.

General manager Ashley Cranenburgh said staff worked hard to ensure their service matched the quality of food and products on the shelves.

“We all strive to offer best in class standards for our customers, selling high quality, good value products supported by excellent customer service in our store,” he said.

WA Metcash Supermarket and convenience general manager Grant Ramage described Preston Street as a standout store for the local community.

“The number of compliments this store receives from fellow retailers, customers and visitors is phenomenal,” he said during the award presentation.
