POLICE are seeking information on a serious assault in Welshpool that left a Cloverdale man with severe injuries.
About 4am on April 4 the man was found by a member of the public slumped in the driver’s seat of his silver Ford Falcon, registration 1EXJ 077, at the corner of Kewdale Road and Collie Street.
He had sustained serious head and leg injuries and his car had also been damaged.
Police believe his injuries were consistent with an assault, perhaps involving more than one offender and a blunt object.

READ NOWThe man, 33, was taken to hospital and, although he has since been released, he continues to need medical treatment.
Police are investigating the possibility the man was assaulted close to where he was found.
