Wyatt to get back to work and tackle big issues facing local residents

Speaking to Southern Gazette yesterday, Mr Wyatt said that while it was ‘an incredible honour’ to have been re-elected, he was keeping a lid on celebrations and it was back down to business.

‘The main infrastructure issues are the Burswood and Oats Street train stations, which are in dire need of upgrades,’ he said.

‘Now that the decision has been made, I will also work closely with the Government to ensure that the Stadium works well with our community.’

Mr Wyatt said he would be address the need for a new primary school and future of secondary education in the area.

Mr Wyatt said that while he was hopeful of retaining the seat, he never took it for granted.
