Every day we hear of brawls and bashings and it is a fear that these perpetrators would turn their attacks in a vigilante-type scenario on the Muslim community.
Unfortunately, those many Muslims who want to live in peace and harmony and to assimilate into the Australian community while still holding their religious beliefs are caught in the middle.
It is up to all of us to be vigilant.
