I READ with interest the report in the June 17 edition of Glenys Godfrey calling for less public housing in Rivervale.
She should note that Rivervale, Belmont, Cloverdale and Redcliffe areas have always been working-class suburbs, not like Peppermint Grove and so forth.
Knowing the area and on reading her statement, it appears to have racial undertones in it.
