Opinion: Good or bad, let your council know

I WOULD encourage all readers who are unhappy with their local council to let that council know about it.

I live in Victoria Park and I am very unhappy with the donation of $57,000 for a fashion event; the idiocy of Amendment 73 to the planning regulations and especially the rate increases which are second highest in the metropolitan area.

Readers, don’t moan about these things to your spouses or complain when you are at the pub – write to council and let them know.

Of course, if they do something good it’s a good idea to respond to that also.
