Parking pain

Staff ReporterSouthern Gazette

I THINK it is about time that Belmont City Council took a look at the verge parking in Cloverdale, especially on Belmont Avenue.

As this road is getting busier, the amount of on-verge parking makes it difficult for residents to reverse or indeed drive forward out of driveways. I would suggest solid white lines on the non-walkway side of the road with ‘no parking on verge’ signs. It is becoming dangerous for drivers.
