Quirky sense of priorities

Which means what? Methinks quirky in this day and age means abstract/contemporary art, which in my view is absolute rubbish.

In the past, when the so-called artists have been asked what it is they have created, I have been told it is whatever I think it is. What a con.

I recall one well-known critic being asked what he thought of today’s art, and he replied that, ‘If it not be art to me, what care I what it be’.
