I HOPE the person who chose to take a pair of pliers without paying for them at my parents’ garage sale has a conscience and returns them and anything else that they may so have taken that we haven’t yet realised is missing.
The garage sale was in Kewdale on Sunday. We were selling everything very cheaply and unfortunately, my nieces had inadvertently left their father’s pliers in the shed when they were making something the day before.
If the person had asked how much instead of just pocketing them then we would have realised the mistake of them being left there. Now my brother-in-law, who was very kindly helping us, has his pliers missing from his set of tools.
