Thieves about in Carlisle and Lathlain. Opinion

RESIDENTS in Carlisle and Lathlain beware: thieves are targeting letterboxes in the two suburbs.

Opened mail is being found dumped in our streets. The thieves are probably hoping to find cash and vouchers in the run-up to Christmas, as well as credit cards and other things with personal details that can be used to commit fraud.

Please lock your mailbox, check with your bank, report to Crime Stoppers, tell your local councillor and warn your neighbours.
