Water wasted

I walk for 45 minutes and the sprinklers are on when I pass on my way and are still on upon return.

I tried to be a polite person and dropped a note in their letterbox months ago, advising them of what’s happening but they’ve chosen to ignore it as it continues to happen.

This isn’t the only time or person I see wasting our precious water and it makes me angry that people continue to flout the laws hiding, I think they hope, under the cover of darkness.

I’ve contacted the water authority months ago and still nothing has changed.

Please residents, it’s now time to be responsible and adjust your reticulation because it is winter.

We need this precious water so I would hope people re-think and remember this.
