THE Acton Group celebrated a successful year with its 47th annual awards night last Saturday at Crown Perth’s Astral Ballroom, recognising achievements of the company’s team members from across the State.

Chief executive Travis Coleman and auctioneer Boyd Fraser hosted the event, announcing the 35 award winners, from administration staff to top-selling agents.

Acton South triumphed in three categories, with senior sales executive Lorraine Potter receiving a Region Champion and silver Outstanding Achievement Awards. Her assistant Jac Fear was named Personal Assistant of the Year.

“We are extremely proud to announce that Lorraine Potter has once again achieved the sales champion award for the south region. After 25 years in the industry, this incredible lady shows no sign of slowing down,” directors Craig Wildman and Jacky Wyatt said.

“Her personal assistant Jac Fear was also recognised and congratulations to both for their outstanding achievements and contribution to Acton South.”

Acton’s Mandurah office won 14 awards on the night, including its third consecutive Business of the Year Award win for the highest gross sales and property management income for the year.

The Highest Number of Sales title went to Mandurah sales executive Noeline Ross, while Dalkeith director Bev Heymans notched up her sixth win as Sales Champion for the highest gross sales commission for the year.

Acton Central director Peter Beckton received the Celebration Award, an elite Acton corporate-nominated award, and Acton Dalkeith sales executive Joan Gebbie won the Sale of the Year Award.

Coogee was named Auction Region of the Year, with property consultant David Bombara named Auction Agent of the Year, both for the highest number of auctions listed.

Mr Coleman said the night, attended by close to 400 people, was a great event for all involved.

“Acton is the largest WA-owned real estate group in WA and our annual awards night showcases our brightest stars,” he said.

“To win an award is a truly special honour and we congratulate all of our finalists and winners on a huge year.”
